    IMPERFORATE ISSUES ON INTERNAL COVERS - FIRST WEEK OFFICIAL USAGE COVER WITH ½a BLUE EX SAMULCOTTAH TO SECUNDERABAD; 6 Oct. 1854 env. (slight creasing & light toning) endorsed "paid" with a 4m 1854 ½a blue (Die I; worn impression showing clear retouch to 1st LH arch - slight gum-toning to edges) tied by light dotted diamond cancel with fair red boxed "SECUNDERABAD/Paid" on the front and with a similar faint "SAMULCOTTAH/Paid" ds on the reverse unusually having "Samulcottah" in manuscript alongside & ms "6 October 1854" date in the centre. Fine early usage of the 1854 issue from this small P.O.
