    AUSTRALIA - AIRMAILS - 1919 ROSS SMITH - LONDON TO MELBOURNE FLIGHT: 1919 Ross-Smith cover to Tallangatta, Victoria, Australia, bearing a fine example of the blue England-Australia vignette tied by oval "FIRST AERIAL MAIL/RECEIVED/GREAT BRITAIN TO AUSTRALIA" ds of "26 FEB. 1920" with a further fine strike alongside. The cover is autographed on reverse "J.M. Bennett/Darwin/12 12 19". The cover has been split and rejoined & very slightly cut down. There is a vertical crease clear of the vignette. Initialled A.D., Eustis 27 and 192 in the detailed listing.
