    STAMPS & STAMP PROOFS - BOX FILE with a collection of the SAGE issue c.1876 to 1900 - specialising in the shades of the 1876 5c Sage green and the 1898 5c Sage yellow green with many hundreds of stamps including a postmark study with a particular section of railway cancels, the use of 5c on cover with a particularly nice cover using an experimental cancel by Chambon. Also included amongst others, is a 5c stationery cover to mark the visit to Paris by the Tzar and Tsarina of Russia, (1888-type 5c). Also a collection values up to 5f. Much duplication but an excellent basis for expansion and further specialised study. (Many 100s)

    STAMPS & STAMP PROOFS - BOX FILE containing a small study of the 1945 'broken chains' issue made up of 25+ covers with deluxe proofs of both values with Algeria overprint and a selection of dated corner blocks. Also included is a collection of approximately 200 envelopes with a wide selection of French postage addressed to the UK. Covers have all passed through mechanised sorting and show evidence of changes in postcode phosphor dots, matrices and links. A good basis for further research. Also included is a small collection of pre-cancelled stamp issues, Coq Gallois and Moissoneuse, c.1953 to c.1959. Comprising of mint and used stamp and 20+ covers. (Qty.)

    STAMPS & STAMP PROOFS - A COLLECTION of Stamp Order Cards c.1942 to c.1956 & Remboursements (COD) service c.1933 to c.1964. The order cards were issued in return for a fee to stamp dealers and collectors who wished to order a years subscription in advance. This study contains cards representing all the rates and card types with fees ranging from 50 to 500 France. It includes the use of 100f Marrianne de Gandon and a pair of 50f Marrianne de Dulac. Very unusual study which would be hard to put together today. Also inc. is a collection of covers and specially printed cards used with the Remboursements service. (Qty.)

Also three commercial CERES covers - 25c blue (pair) Type III c.1871 to c. 1875, 25c Type I (single) dated 1871 with railway marks and 40c increased rate entire c.1871 (possible siege printing). An interesting mixture of important items of the period. (6 covers, 9 stamps & 5 blocks)
